Work Days 5 and 6

We have been running around with our heads cut off trying to finish our system and implement it , but in it, there’s been so much joy and laughter (and bottles of coke)

at this point the wastewater system is completely finished , and nate and emma have done a fantastic job of completing it, and backfilling the trenches

liv and professor lockwood have completed the RO system and all of the piping in the kitchen, and today the final float switch was installed in the kitchen

the electrical team had an exciting day, as basically everything that had to be wired, was wired today. up until today, all of the wiring from the pumps was run into the shelter , but today the wiring was connected to every component that needed power. we worked with Solar PV to tie our two systems together. Solar PV is giving CAWS a transfer switch, so our pumps can either be powered from the grid or from their solar system.

Work aside, the coolest part of today  was the olympics , yes the olympics (well our quickly thought up india version)

we held a series of games between two teams including a scavenger hunt, bible skit with props, balloon popping game, and volleyball

ways we have seen god:

-providing the resources and tools so we could host the olympics

-continued health and safety of all the students and children here

-continued fellowship and community here

prayers;

-we have let to test the system/ ensure there are no leaks

-solar pv is able to continue to work (we are all one big team here)

-church with the community members around us here
